THE VILLA
Harikoa is a stunning villa on the west coast of Barbados, just a short stroll from the pristine sands of Gibbes beach. Nestled within an acre of beautiful, natural gardens, this peaceful retreat offers the ultimate escape and is the perfect base for unforgettable holidays, unwinding and relaxing in this stunning setting.

In 2024 the villa was meticulously renovated by award-winning interior designer Pippa Paton, featuring new interiors, a beautiful contemporary kitchen, luxurious bathrooms and stylish furnishings. The thoughtfully designed, supremely comfortable spaces exude a sense of calm and tranquility and are filled with an eclectic collection of art and ceramics carefully curated by Pippa.
With spacious vaulted open-plan living, a generous veranda for dining and lounging, and four luxurious ensuite bedrooms, each designed to provide a serene sanctuary, the villa offers the perfect blend of comfort and relaxation - both indoors and out.
LIVING
The villa boasts a spacious open-plan living area with fully-equipped kitchen, dining and sitting areas. This inviting space flows effortlessly out onto a large, elevated verandah where comfortable seating and dining areas enjoy views over the lush gardens and sparkling pool – perfect for both relaxation and entertainment. Conveniently located off the kitchen there is a cloakroom and utility room with washing machine and dryer.
SLEEPING
From the open-plan living area, stairs lead to four light and airy bedroom suites - two on the upper level and two on the lower level. Each bedroom features a luxurious super king bed (with two convertible into twin singles upon request), a private ensuite bathroom and dressing area. Adding to the villa’s charm, each suite (named ‘Blanc,’ ‘Sand,’ ‘Olive,’ and ‘Noir’) has its own unique character, with beautifully curated accents set against cool white backdrops.
GARDEN
The charming whitewashed villa is nestled within an acre of lush, secluded and tranquil gardens where swaying palms create a serene oasis—occasionally visited by playful monkeys! The large pool is surrounded by a sun-drenched terrace with comfortable loungers, while a stunning volcanic rock bath adds a unique touch of luxury. The verandah offers alfresco dining, with sitting area to enjoy evening cocktails, while a dedicated barbecue area completes this idyllic retreat.
THE LOCATION
The villa is in a quiet residential street in Gibbes, which is on Barbados’ west coast between Holetown and Speightstown.
The villa is just a four minute stroll to the breathtaking Gibbes beach which is quiet, unspoiled and perfect for early morning ‘sea baths’ in the crystal-clear waters, unwinding on the soft sands during the day and enjoying stunning early evening sunsets. ​A six minute walk takes you to Mullins beach with bars, restaurants and watersports. And there are numerous restaurants and bars and other facilities just a short drive along the coast and in Holetown (6 km) and Speightstown (4 km).
OTHER DETAILS
Our wonderful house manager, Sarah, will welcome you upon arrival and be available throughout your stay to assist with any questions, restaurant bookings and more. A dedicated housekeeper provides daily cleaning, with a mid-week linen change, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience. A private chef is also available upon request.
All rooms and the verandah are equipped with ceiling fans, while the bedrooms have both ceiling fans and air conditioning. Beach essentials, including chairs, towels, umbrellas and cooler boxes, are provided for your convenience.
The villa is fully secured with a gated garden, a security system, and safes in each bedroom.
Private parking is available for at least two vehicles.
The villa accommodates a maximum of eight guests. No pets allowed.​
